Redstick Golf Club
Redstick Golf Club

Guest Information

RedStick Golf Club was founded by golfers for the social enjoyment of golf.  The rules of the Club were created in the spirit of upholding the best interests of golf, its traditions, its etiquette, and the dignified atmosphere of the clubhouse.

GENERAL
The Clubhouse is non-smoking.  Smoking is fine anywhere outside of the Clubhouse.

Cell phones, tablets, and laptops may only be used in Clubhouse phone booths or locker rooms.

Pets are not welcome on the Club property.

DRESS CODE
Proper golf attire should be worn at all times.  Sandals and flip flops are not deemed appropriate footwear in the Clubhouse.

Bermuda shorts and shirts with collars (tucked in) are required for gentlemen. No tee shirt style golf shirts for men are acceptable.

Women are requested to wear appropriate golf attire.  Children are expected to observe the Club’s dress code.

PLAY
United States Golf Association rules of golf govern all play unless otherwise revised as a local rule.

A foursome should complete play in four hours.

The Head Professional and his assistants are empowered by the Board of Governors to manage speed and order of play as well as dress code.

Players making the turn from the ninth hole will have precedence on the tenth tee over groups beginning play or stopping for lunch.

The handicap system is an integral part of the game.  All players are expected to post a score after every round and complete all tournament score cards in accordance with USGA guidelines.

Players are requested to rake bunkers, when appropriate, to facilitate speed of play.

CADDIES
A player must engage a caddie if a caddie is available until 2:00 p.m.

A player using a cart must employ a caddie to carry his bag.

The Caddie Master or his assistant will assign caddies with an eye toward fairness to all members.

Caddie fees will be billed to the member’s account and include a fair tip.  There will be no additional cash tips for caddies.

CARTS & TROLLEYS
RedStick is a walking course.  Carts are discouraged unless medically required or necessary for the player’s comfort.

Trolleys will be available for walking at no charge whenever caddies are not available and always after 2:00 p.m.
